“Music is my passion. I love teaching and seeing my students excel in their individual performance” Music has always been a passion for Lou Iandoli. A Graduate of the University of Tampa with a Music Education Degree in 1976, he taught students in Texas for over ten years. Lou also played drums/percussion for a theater group in Texas for 5 years. Lou’s Business, Iandoli Percussion, is concentrated on private percussion instruction, ensemble instruction, and high school drumline techniques. Lou moved to Wilmington, NC in 1993 and has been involved in the music community in many ways. He has played in the Wilmington Symphony, taught drum/percussion lessons, played for various church programs and Thalian productions. Lou was the Orchestra director at Myrtle Grove Presbyterian for 7+ years where he directed Christmas & Easter cantatas, played in Worship bands and led Worship. Lou is a family man who has been married to his wife Kathy for 36 years. He has 6 children, 5 grandchildren and one grandchild on the way. Lou enjoys sharing his love of music with his family as well.
